TruJet always tries to accommodate and assist all our Passengers with additional needs. Safety regulations stipulate that Passengers with additional needs may not be seated at emergency exit rows.
Wheelchairs are not allowed on board TruJet flights. If the Passenger needs wheelchair assistance at the airport, the Passenger shall request us at least 24 hours in advance by calling our call center at 040- 4090 4090.TruJet does not guarantee the availability of the same.
Companions providing assistance:
If you are not self-reliant (capable of taking care of all your physical needs independently in-flight) e.g. eating, drinking, using the lavatory or administering/ withholding medications, we request you to travel with companion Ticketed by you, who can assist you.
The Medical Clearance will be required if the Passenger:
- Suffered from any disease, which is believed to be actively contagious and communicable.
- Who, because of certain disease, or incapacitation may have or develop an adverse physical condition which could have an adverse effect during flight and on safety and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Would require medical attention and / or special equipment to maintain their health during the flight.
- There exists a possibility of medical condition aggravated during or because of the flight.
Visually impaired Passengers:
At the time of booking or check-in, the visually impaired Passengers may request, a special service for assistance at the airport.
Incubators and Guide Dogs are not allowed on TruJet flights.
TruJet shall charge an additional fee of Rs 1500 for children aged between 5-12 years travelling alone as unaccompanied children. This fee will be in addition to any applicable prevailing Ticket price. TruJet shall not accept unaccompanied children between the age of 2 to 5 years.
It is mandatory to produce photo identification at the airport for all unaccompanied minors.
The Passenger shall complete and sign an Unaccompanied Minor Form at the departing airports and on arrival, they would require the designated recipient for identification and shall sign to take the minor’s custody.
The unaccompanied minor will be escorted by TruJet’s staff and seated in the aircraft.
Expecting mothers may travel up to and including the 27 weeks of completed pregnancy, and will be accepted between the 28 to 32 weeks of completed pregnancy only if, they are in possession of a doctor's certificate confirming the stage of their pregnancy and stating that they are fit to fly. The certificate should be issued (by the Passenger's attending gynecologist) within 24 hours prior to departure. This certificate will have to be presented at check-in when requested. Expecting mothers completed 32 weeks and above of pregnancy are not allowed to fly on TruJet’s flights.
Travelling with an Infant:
Passengers travelling with an infant shall inform TruJet’s reservation staff and also indicate the same when purchasing the flight Ticket.
